Trackman Tip
How Radar and Cameras Read Every Swing
Here’s what happens every time you hit a shot in the bay:
Two sensors, one job. The cameras catch the angles. The radar measures depth and speed. Together they track both the ball and the club.
No stickers on your clubs. The cameras read the clubface itself, down to the grooves, toe and heel. Hit your own clubs with any ball.
It sets itself up. Each time it starts, Trackman checks its own alignment against the screen, so you don’t have to.
Spin, measured closely. It measures the ball’s 3D spin to within less than one degree.
Read all about it on Trackman’s blog as co-founder and CTO Fredrik Tuxen explains it. (10-minute read)
